Wystawę będzie można oglądać do 1 września.
Harry Weinberg – urodził się 10 października 1939 w Warszawie. W czasie wojny mieszkał na warszawskiej Woli z rodzicami, siostrą i babcią ze strony mamy. W sierpniu 1944, w trakcie Rzezi Woli – krwawej niemieckiej pacyfikacji dzielnicy, rodzina opuściła mieszkanie i udała się w kierunku Pruszkowa (w czasie tego przejścia zmarła siostra Harry’ego Weinberga), do którego ostatecznie nie dotarli, znajdując schronienie u państwa Szybowskich na Jelonkach. Jeszcze w 1944 roku, w niewyjaśnionych okolicznościach, wraz z matką i babcią, Harry Weinberg trafił do Berlina. Do Polski wrócili w 1946 roku i przez kolejne trzy lata mieszkali u Szybowskich.
Harry Weinberg ukończył Technikum Fototechniczne w Warszawie. Po maturze pracował kolejno: jako fotograf w Fabryce Półprzewodników „Tewa”, instruktor fotografii w Pałacu Młodzieży w Warszawie, asystent fotografa Edwarda Hartwiga, laborant w wydawnictwie „Polonia”. Pracując w laboratorium, otrzymał propozycję etatu fotoreportera w miesięczniku „Polska” (edycja Wschód), a po kilku latach spędzonych w redakcji przeszedł do Polskiej Agencji „Interpress”. Od drugiej połowy lat 70. z fotografem Markiem Czudowskim współtworzył duet, który zajmował się fotografią reklamową – nieprzerwanie do początku lat 90. Członek ZPAF i Stowarzyszenia Dziennikarzy Polskich. Zdobywca pierwszej nagrody w Ogólnopolskim Konkursie Fotografii Prasowej za fotoreportaż „Przyjedź mamo na przysięgę”.

Harry Weinberg – was born on October 10, 1939 in Warsaw. During the war he lived in Warsaw’s Wola with his parents, sister and grandmother on the part of his mother. In August 1944, during the Rzezia Wola – bloody German pacification of the district, the family left the apartment and headed towards Pruszków (during this passage died the sister of Harry Weinberg), which they did not reach, finding refuge in the Szybowskie family in Jelonki. Even in 1944, in unexplained circumstances, together with his mother and grandmother, Harry Weinberg went to Berlin. They returned to Poland in 1946 and for the next three years they lived at Szybowskie.
Harry Weinberg graduated from the Technical Technikum in Warsaw. After graduating from high school he worked as a photographer in the Semiconductor Factory “Tewa”, a photography instructor at the Youth Palace in Warsaw, assistant photographer Edward Hartwig, a laboratory technician in the Polonia publishing house. Working in the laboratory, he was offered a job as a photojournalist in the monthly Polska (East edition), and after a few years spent in the editorial office, he went to the Polish Agency “Interpress”. From the second half of the 1970s, with photographer Marek Czudowski, he co-founded the duo, which dealt with advertising photography – uninterruptedly until the early 90s. Member of the Union of Polish Journalists and Association of Polish Journalists. Winner of the first prize in the National Press Photography Competition for the photo-reportage “Come mother to oath.”
