On 8 November 2021, the European Jewish Association, an organisation representing Jewish communities all over Europe hosted a symposium devoted to the issue of antisemitism. The date of the event coincided with the 83rd anniversary of the so-called Kristallnacht.
The EJA invited 130 major politicians and leaders of Jewish organisations from a range of European countries who arrived at the Conference in Cracow. The key theme of the symposium was the role of education in combating antisemitism. On the next day, the participants of the event visited a former death camp known as Auschwitz-Birkenau. The Social and Cultural Association of Jews in Poland was the Polish partner of the event.
