JOINT STATEMENT OF THE UNION OF JEWISH RELIGIOUS COMMUNITIES IN THE REPUBLIC OF POLAND AND THE SOCIAL AND CULTURAL ASSOCIATION OF JEWS IN POLAND

The TSKZ objectives include supporting of the Jewish community, promoting knowledge of the Yiddish language, fostering cultural awareness, and sharing knowledge about the culture, fine art and national heritage of the Polish Jews. For over 70 years we have been implementing various cultural and educational projects in aim to preserve national traditions of the Jewish community in Poland and emphasise the great role that the Polish Jews played in the historical shaping of the Polish society, political thought and culture.

Israel was once again attacked on the Jewish holiday and Shabbat. Palestinian Hamas terrorists broke into Israeli settlements and went from house to house, ruthlessly murdering civilians. In these difficult times, we join the pain of the victims’ families and declare support for the Israeli authorities who are dealing with this attack. We condemn Palestinian terrorists and all those who support them or thoughtlessly try to explain inhumane acts of terror.
