A meeting between Róża Król and Piotr Krzystek, Mayor of the City of Szczecin

The TSKZ objectives include supporting of the Jewish community, promoting knowledge of the Yiddish language, fostering cultural awareness, and sharing knowledge about the culture, fine art and national heritage of the Polish Jews. For over 70 years we have been implementing various cultural and educational projects in aim to preserve national traditions of the Jewish community in Poland and emphasise the great role that the Polish Jews played in the historical shaping of the Polish society, political thought and culture.

On 7, Róża Król, Chair of TSKŻ Szczecin met Mr Piotr Krzystek, Mayor of the City of Szczecin. During the meeting,

the Mayor congratulated Róża Król on her receipt of the “Warsaw Ghetto Uprising” Medal and expressed his gratitude for her ongoing efforts aimed at preserving the memory of Jews in Poland and Szczecin, and promoting the Jewish culture. The discussions also revolved around the memories of the Reunions which had been hosted in Szczecin and the activities of our local Branch.
