On 22nd August, we completed the 2nd edition of The Summer in the City Jung Warsze. The leading theme of our free weekly workshop project organised this year was the Jewish Warsaw. During the seven-day workshops, the participants had an opportunity to take part in various classes taught by our tutors.
The workshop themes included, among others: Jewish, historical and Hebrew studies, acting and improvising classes, fine arts classes, sports, team-building events, film and art-therapy workshops. Moreover, the workshop participants could attend a number of cross-cultural meetings, and visits at the State Ethnographic Museum, the Warsaw Uprising Museum, the Center for Yiddish Culture, the Museum World of Illusion or Kino Wisła.
We would like to take this opportunity to express our cordial thanks to the workshop tutors i.e. Michalina Lewandowska, Ida Zając, Aleksandra Sołłtysiak, Karolina Łygaś, Wojciech Marczak, the project coordinator Nina Nowakowska, and the brilliant and clever young participants of our workshops.
